Downstairs features open floor plan with a spacious kitchen dining area and living room, half bath and French doors open to the private back yard and pool area.

  We had a short six-day stay here, and it was a wonderful place! The pool and backyard offered both sunshine and shade, with lounge chairs and cushions for relaxing. The first floor has a spacious open plan with a half bath and a modern kitchen equipped with all appliances. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms—the oversized master features a private bath, an extended sitting area, and a wraparound porch. The two other bedrooms each have queen beds and share a bathroom located in the hall next to the laundry. They also have access to the wraparound porch. It’s just a 10-minute walk to Mallory Square and three blocks from Duval. Street.

  This was our second time staying at this property in Key West. As regular visitors to Key West, it's one of our favorite properties because of the amount of space, the private pool, and prime location near downtown/Duval Street.

  I rented this home because it is listed for 8 people but the sofa bed is located just off the Master bedroom with only sliding doors for privacy. You can't shut the doors are there is no air conditioning to that room. That room was warm but the 2 queen rooms were cold. The sofa bed mattress is very thin and uncomfortable. There's no instructions in the home on operating TV's, appliances, etc. The TV on the pool patio never did work. There is no shampoo so when you get off the plane you will have to make a trip immediately to CVS. We believed there were no paper towels but found them later in the expresso machine cabinet (didn't know to look there). There was no working lights in the pool or on the rooftop lookout but I did email management concerning my safety concerns so they did fix the rooftop lights. If you have younger children you will need to keep an eye in the pool area in the evening because there is no landscaping or pool lights so it is very dark. The air vents have some black stuff around them, probably from moisture, but it needs to be cleaned. A property that charges over $800 a night should be maintained better than this property is in my opinion. The location is the best thing about it. It is in the Truman Annex which is within walking distance to Duvall street. There are other homes in the area though so unless you just have to have 8 guest I would choose another home. Management emailed me back when I listed my complaints early in my stay but only addressed a couple of the issues. I don't believe that I've ever written a bad review for a rental but for this amount of money some of the things listed need to be addressed.

  The house was a rundown mess pool was green when we got there. We had no hot water and we had water dripping out of ceiling from broken AC into our guests heads. We finally got everything fixed and was only given 6,300$ back to compensate when we rented it for 43,000$ couch was ripped the upstairs pull out mattress was stained. Very bad experience and was told by neighbors there that this house is the slum of the neighborhood and should never of been rented.

  We have been coming to Key West for Christmas for 7 years. This was far and away the best property we’ve stayed in so far. The location of the Truman Annex can’t be beat; you get proximity to Duval Street, while also enjoying some quiet and privacy, as well as the beautiful character of Old Town. We were spoiled by this 3-bedroom/2.5 bath property with a private pool. It’s an ideal property for a family as we put our toddler in the enormous master bedroom with us, while grandparents each had their own private bedroom. The master is so large, it has a sitting room that can be closed off by pocket doors. The private pool and multiple porches & decks provide tons of outdoor options. I’d definitely stay here again.

  House was very personable. Don’t feel like a rental at all. Safe, secure location with security guards close by. Gated community. Only 2 blocks from Duval. Lots of towels and room for everyone to enjoy breakfast and coffee outside. Pool was deep. Lawn chairs provided. Bbq grill did not have propane.

  We rented the 3 bedroom Sunset Breeze for ourselves and our adult children with their partners. We picked this property because of the value in Truman Annex area, the pool and the outside grill. When we arrived we we happy to see all just as it looked in the video.One exception that the widows walk is no longer accessible for safety reasons, we understood. A couple small maintenance needs did not discourage us from fully appreciating this beautiful, convenient, and affordable home for our Family vacation. We were slightly disappointed the gas in the grill was not full for first night use as we got in later and planned on grilling but it was replaced quickly after we called the following day.We also all rented bikes and the owners bikes were kind of in the way. Other than that the Sunset Breeze was perfecr for us and we all want to go back asap!

  This was a great vacation for us. Besides there being a pool at the house, there was a spray park, state park with a beach & snorkeling, shops and restaurants all within walking distance. We stayed here with 2 small kids, so we rented a cargo bike and took them all over. We didn't drive at all.
  
  As far as the house, the pool was a bit dirty, not sure if it was stained but a bit worse for wear. It needs a good scrubbing. The house met all our needs, 2.5 baths was very nice.

  We enjoyed the house and pool. Great location, nicely decorated and nice open floor plan on main level. On a personal preference, I like thicker pillows and a little more closest space for clothes, but certainly didn't hinder the great time we had. I would stay here again in a heart beat!!!

  Everything about our rental was very good. Check in was easy and instructions to the office were useful. The property, although a little worn, was very nice. The location was ideal - walking distance to everything (Hemingway House, Truman White House, Duval Street), but in a peaceful area. The pool was a definite plus, especially after walking around Key West. Recommend viewing the sunset from Ft Zachery Taylor Park (a block away from the house) instead of Mallory Square; it’s not crowded and the view is great.

  This property is in a great location between the amphitheater and Duvall street. Clean, nice size pool. We were down to Key West for a music festival and this property provided easy walking distances to the amphitheater, sunset pier, Hanks, the Smoking Tuna and all of Duvall street

  Pictures actually do not do this unit justice....The furniture was comfortable although the pictures mad it look otherwise and the box tv was replaced with a modern flat screen. In addition the rear yard/pool are was larger than anticipated.

  Loved the location, we have stayed in the Truman Annex many times and it doesn't disappoint. The pool was a disappointment and needs some heavy duty cleaning. The back deck with the TV was great as even when you are home you can still be outside. All in all the house is good, just could use a little maintenance such as replacing burnt out lighting.
