  The 2 BR 2 1/2 bath townhouse in Truman Annex was lovely and close to all things on the west end of Key West! I notified the Compass Realty office of a few small issues when we first arrived and Oscar did a wonderful job addressing them promptly and professionally. I was grateful and impressed!

  The unit was beautiful and spacious. The only thing I would change was the rugs. They hurt my feet. The pool that as available to us was not good. It was very small and the water was hot. Then the lock was changed and we could not get in. Hopefully the lock issue has been resolved. The property is very close to all the things you want to do but is in a private gated community so it is quiet at night. I would stay here again!

  Island Oasis was the perfect place to stay in Key West. There was plenty of space for two couples. The furniture, including the beds, was comfortable. This end unit was quiet and sunny. The location in the Truman Annex was safe and the location was perfect for walking to our many activities and meals. It was a bonus to have a washer and dryer. We would definitely want to stay here again.

  This lovely home is exactly as pictured. It was extremely clean. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, and the beds were very comfortable. The location in unbeatable. It is within easy walking distance to restaurants, bars, and other attractions, yet extremely quiet and private.

  Took the family with 4 kids to #25 at the Island Oasis in the Truman Annex. The house was very updated and had great, if not brand new, kitchenware. I really liked that the kids could stay on the 3rd floor and had their own bathroom.
  The master Bathroom was very nicely updated. The small outside porch was a great spot to sit in the evenings. The small courtyard was just big enough to keep bikes. The location was the best we have stayed at in Key West. It is close to everything with multiple gates to go out of. I would recommend this to a friend and would rent this place again.

  First experience renting a "home" in Key West vs staying at a hotel and can honestly say it was by far the best experience and exceeded all expectations. We absolutely loved Island Oasis. Maintenance was responsive when we needed more propane for the BBQ. Truman Annex was the perfect location!

  One of the nicest and most updated properties we've rented in Key West. Note this is a three story townhouse so one bedroom is up two levels. Great privacy for 2 couples, bathrooms are excellent. Small but serviceable kitchen.

  We stayed for a week in December as a couples trip. The location couldn’t have been more convenient to walk to everything. Duval St., harbor and everything in between was so convenient. However, the quietness of the area made you feel like you were miles away. The property was clean, comfortable and stocked with most items. There is a starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags but we needed to purchase coffee filters and other kitchen products like plastic wrap etc. this isn’t a big deal but helpful to know ahead of time. There are plenty of towels including beach towels for use and having a washer and dryer helps when staying for a week. There was laundry detergent supplied.
  Would highly recommend property and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

  Relaxing and enjoyable in every way! Our party of 4 (2 couples) loved the location and layout of our rental. Even the 2 flights of stairs to the 3rd floor bedroom was enjoyable-got our steps in!
  The rental was roomy, clean, and well appointed. Kitchen provided the basics for cooking pots, pans, utensils although we didn't make use of that. We made good use of the ice maker for our daily Key West boat drinks. Plenty of towels for personal and beach use.
  Location was perfect for us. We were pedestrian for the week. All attractions in Old Town were within walking distance. We rented bicycles (delivered to our door) a few times to venture further into and beyond Key West. Biking was easy & safe.
  Within the Truman Annex, it was lovely, quiet and secure-far from the madding crowd. A short walk brought us to the fenced pool-small but never crowded.
  The staff in the office was FABULOUS, beyond expectation. Accommodated our every request. Contacted me personally before arrival to assure everything was in order. Sent both txt & email to communicate information. The "Hospitality" app was convenient and helpful. I would definitely stay here again, and use Compass Realty for sure.

  I would probably chose a hotel next time. There is a coffee pot and filters, but no coffee in the room.
  I knew I would need to buy groceries, but thought that would occur sometime after my morning cup of joe. There were no instructions in the room on how to work the tv's and response time to email was slow. Pool is very small. I'd recommend this place, but with hesitation. It was clean, but you are required to take out your garbage before you leave, so kudos to each guest.

  The contract does not allow for termination due to Covid travel limits beyond your control. They will keep the damage deposit for a unit you never occupy. They will keep the cleaning fee for the unit you never enter. They may offer a reschedule opportunity for up to one year later, but you will see that it isn't available for the time period you will like or meets school schedules. If you peruse other dates, you will note that the rate is higher, so your credit is worth less. Don't assume that there is a customer service solution as there was with other vendors. Appeals for fairness and some shared sacrifice will be unsuccessful, and your booking agent (VRBO) will simply look the other way. Expect that they will do exactly what is in the contract, which permits them to keep all the money and not offer any split solution. All the disappointment will be yours, so don't book unless you are absolutely sure you will be able to go.
